Ryan is right. The binding may be too loose for running shoes.

I've run in mine but they are heavier and wider than racing snowshoes. I like to train in the Tubbs and then go to my lighter racing snowshoes on race day.

Tubbs Venture is a hiking snowshoe and fits men’s boot to size 13, so you may find trail shoes a little loose fitting. Could you run in the Venture yes absolutely but you may find the split claw crampon designed for climbing and descending will hinder your running stride, but this works great for hiking and some occasionally running, if you really want to run in snowshoes I would recommend the Atlas Run/Race which is a snowshoe entirely designed for running.
