just got the gloves...love them so far. was thinking of giving...

just got the gloves...love them so far. was thinking of giving them a couple coats of waterproofing spray for extra protection, but don't was to lose the grip on the palms and fingers. Has anyone tries spraying these gloves or a pair with a similar grippy surface?(yes, I could just not spray the palm and fingers but that prob wouldn't do much good from a waterproofing standpoint)

Any waterproofing will just soak in. Don't worry about losing grip.
