Well I hope he ASKED you, but it's hard telling if this is the one he wants or not. It will hold his snowboard with bindings and maybe a few other small things. You will have to buy the 166 though, because they don't have a 160. (This is the length in cm, and you want to make sure it will fit his board, so the 156 would be too small, therefore you must get the 166)
