Wash off the dirt/dust under running water. Put a few drops of soap on the lens. Scrub with a wet clean paper towel. Rinse off with running water. Dry with a clean bath towel. Be sure to get the edges of the lens.

I've got the whalers and have gone through 2 pair but it was because the lenses were cut irregular from the frames so when I was cleaning them the lenses were popping out. Maui Jim actually makes a lens cleaner that works well and won't scratch your glasses. If you're in Utah you should pick up a lens cleaning kit from The Spectacle......www.thespectacle.com The owner, John Cottam knows more about eyewear than anyone else in the business. Call him up and ask what you can do as well, but I bought a kit from them and haven't had any problems. If you're using a liquid you will have to be extremely careful. Certain chemicals will allow the lenses to scratch easily.Sorry for the novel but I hope that helps.
