I need a sneaker that fits a wider foot. The Saloman brand was too narrow. Do these happen to run wider than those.

Lorna,Both of the Merrell and Salomon water shoes are "medium" width. With that being Salomon Tech amphibians run narrower and the Merrell sandals will run B/C. I would recommend trying shoe if you are looking for a water shoe. This would not be my recommendation for an everyday sneaker, though some do use it for that. How about the Asics Gel Kayano?
