Has anybody tested this for use as an emergency floatation device? Seems like it could work.

well you'd have to leave it inflated all the time, and even then it's not a very good idea. Also, I am not sure how much weight it could take! The seams are water-proof, but they won't really handle pressure. I used it as a pillow once, and woke up in the morning with a tiny hole at one seam!
