Its time for a new pair of sticks and im really considering these. I skied on 174 2007 Foils as my All mountain skis the last two years but they are in need of a replacement. I liked them, but they didnt ski switch as great as the VCT's i had owned. I am need of a ski that will ski anything, I ski AK and CO (live in AK) and i own some powder boards already. When i take my kids out on the weekends i have to be able to hit the groomers fast with them. In between checkin up on the kiddos ill hit north face up for some fresh, or go hit the terrain park, or just hit groomers with my buddies in tow. Im torn between this ski, the 09 blend, the prophet 100, and for some reason the Salomon Lord. Only reason i like the lord is it seems to be basically a salomon foil with a wood core and some tiny rocker. Is this basically the same ski as the old Seth?? It seems to be basically but i am worried it is too soft to go fast on groomers.Oh yeah, im 5'11" 195lbs. Planned on getting the 179

Yes it is, but it would be a good all mountain ski but kind of heavy, The new lord is way stiffer then the old foil and is not a tru twintip, just a slight raised tail for the masses. If you already have powder boards I would for the 09 blend, Its the most freestyle ski of the group, and would be the best in the park. The 90 and lord are great on groomers but not so much in the park, The 100's are awesome but a more big mountain ski but they rip on groomers also. For something different take a look at the MOMMENT TAHOE"S they are fun in the park and stiff enough to kill it on the groomers and super light.
