I tried on this pack in the 42L M/L size at Sports Basement and it felt incredibly short. I have a ~19" torso and with my hipbones in the middle of the hipbelt, the shoulder straps were down very low and the connection point of the load lifter straps was on my back instead of on top of my shoulder. Is this pack meant to be worn with the waistbelt between the hips and the ribcage or on the hips? Did Sports Basement just put a M/L sticker on a S/M pack or is this pack designed to be short?

The waistbelt is meant to be worn just above the hip bones, rather than on the hips.
