How wet will my hands get wearing these, how water proof are they?

i used these gloves on on raining day at boreal in the sierra nevada's and stayed dry the whole time maybe 4hrs in the rain. Though my pants were soaking wet.

That depends on the weather....These are waterproof to a point but since they are not the most high-end gloves on the market i'd avoid washing dishes with them.
