Why does this jacket have only a 1 year warranty? I was seriously looking at purchasing this jacket, but EVERY other jacket I'm considering has a LIFETIME warranty. I've never even used a warranty on a jacket before- but when I notice 1 that stands out with only 1 year, I start to wonder if the manufacturer doesn't have faith in thier own product. Is there a logical reason for this and I just don't know it? Thanks.

All Marmot products have a lifetime warranty. That is a misprint on the tech specs.

Doesn't matter, Backcountry will take it back even if it's been ten years. From this site, everything has a lifetime warranty.
