I have heard that this suit is pretty oversized (i.e., if you normally wear an XL, you might want to try a L, etc.). Has anybody tried one on and can confirm or deny this?

yes it is, it is about 40% larger than a normal TNF jacket

Yeah, I would say that's about right. I have one in a Large and it is bigger than a typical TNF Large.
