I'm trying to decide between the Heli Pro 20L and Dakine Baker pack. My use will be backcountry snowboarding (light day trips) and I'm about 6'2". Will one fit my torso better? Are the shoulder and hip straps any different in terms of construction and quality?

I think that the Heli Pro 20L would fit your frame better, and I'm pretty sure the shoulder straps and hip straps are the same. The Baker pack is only 16 liters though, so I really think it may be too small for you. I like the horizontal board carry of the Heli Pro too. Good for short hikes, and makes an awesome make-shift butt pad. :)
