I'm looking for a casual but stylish jacket to wear around the village while on a ski holiday in Japan. Is this jacket very warm? I always wear layers underneath but I don't want any chilly breezes coming through the seams! I'm also looking at The North Face Insulated Grace Jacket..

It's really meant more to stay dry than it is to stay warm. However, if you layer underneath you should stay decently warm. I'm not sure what temperatures you talking about though, but if it's going to be pretty cold, you might want to look into that North Face Insulated Grace Jacket.
