Does anyone know how this compares to the Backcountry.com Shift Softshell? I know they're both made of Power Shield, but it looks like this might be a bit more light weight. Sorry for the cross-post, but I'm just wondering if there would be an appreciable difference between this and the Shift.

Indeed, the Shift is going to be thicker than the Rime. The Shift has a heavier fleece backing, however both have the same face fabric. The Shift is also equipped with more pockets and a full zip. Hope this helps
