My wife and I will be taking an 8 day walking/hiking tour in Italy. Most hikes are 5-8 miles and some involve moderate climbs up rocky and maybe even wet paths. Any hiking shoe/boot recommendations for us? She's a 9N; I'm a 11M.

Hi, Bernie. The Hardrocks are a great option for your wife. The KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe also has some great tech features (like eVENT and a good lacing system for narrow feet), plus they're on sale. For you, for a low-mileage hiking shoe with good grip even on wet rocks, how about the Montrail Flow Hiking Shoe?
