So Im guessing this product is of inferior quality as it does not offer a lifetime guarantee as do other leading companies?

Or they don't feel like giving it a lifetime warranty. Yes, it's not Polartec or some other technical fleece, but it'll keep you warm and offer that classic look that you can't get on an Arc'Teryx.
