I have this pack and after looking at it I don't think there is a way to strap a board onto it without sewing your own straps on.Actually, the side buckles undo and clip to the ones on the other side of the pack to carry your board no problem!To carry a snowboard with the Covert pack unclip the side straps and sling them across the back of the pack. The buckles are designed to clip together in that formation.
