I'm planning on going one size bigger to put a liner underneath these gloves. Even with a liner, will these keep my hands warm on cold days?

With a liner it will certainly help. A lot depends on how you tolerate the cold. Some do better than others. I'd say with a liner, assuming you don't get them wet and it's not super windy out, you should be able to withstand most temps. But remember these aren't made for the super cold days, so when it dips down well below freezing, you're probably going to start to notice.**************************EDIT: These are park gloves. The point is that you get a low profile glove for warm days and then have a different glove for colder days on hte mountain. My advice is to get a good glove with removable liners and use the liners alone when it gets warm out.
