The buttons on the check pockets -- are they snap buttons? or traditional buttons that go through button holes ? (I just would like to know whether the buttons are easily replaceable with simple sewing.)Thanks!

they are traditional buttons w/ button holes, and the jacket comes with one extra button attached to the tag for replacing if you lose one... will sew on easily with standard needle and thread.

They're normal buttons.
