A Question about GoLite Quest Backpack - Women's - 4000cu in

I am looking at Golite women's packs. I have determined the size I need according to torso length but I don't see waist measurements on Golite sizing charts. My concern is that the padded section of the hip belt on the size small pack won't wrap around my hips enough, not so much that the belt won't extend to buckle. are these packs designed to fit a wide range of waist sizes? I measure about 34" where the hip belt would wrap around. Will a small work?

The backpack waist-belt should sit on top of your hips not wrap around them, making your waist measurement the determining factor. This will support most of the pack weight where it belongs. You can then balance & tweak by adjusting the shoulder straps. The waist-belt on my Odyssey can be adjusted anywhere from 32" to 38" comfortably.
