To correct the other answer, there is a hyrdration sleeve but it isn't fleece padded. You can run the tube of the hyrdration bladder from the sleeve, which is located in the main compartment, straight to the shoulder strap so that the tubing doesn't freeze up.

FAIL. There's a hydration sleeve, fleece padded, that goes from way inside the pack to the bottom of the shoulder strap. Great design!
