My daughter is 8 months 28 inches and 19 pounds. What size should I go with? The 12 month or 18 month

According to the sizing chart, the 12 month. It's very true to size. The 12 month fit my 10 month olds almost perfectly, but I wanted to be sure it would fit them the entire winter so I sent them back and got 18 month and they're WAY to big. But that's okay because they'll last that way!
