This jacket is very roomy. I'm 5'10", 215lbs, and normally wear clothes in XL. I have this jacket in that size and feel that I could have ordered a Large instead.

I'd order the XXL mainly for what you're wearing underneath. What you don't need is a constricting outer down jacket.
