I wanna know why these great insulated jackets don't have more pit-zips. I tried skiing once in cold conditions with one of the Primaloft Arcteryx jackets and was burning up so much, I had to unzip the entire jacket to let some chilly air in to cool down. I wish they'd understand, we buy these coats to do stuff in, not standing in line waiting for the bus.

The Primaloft insulated Jackets are designed to minimize your need for underlayers during climbing/ascents. To reduce overheating choose a shell layer without the insulation. I currently have had the Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR since 2005 riding over 130 days a season no problems no overheating. Next jacket purchase, research the venting before laying down the money and you will be happy for many years to come. Cheers
