When their feet are too big for kids' boots. Well that answer isn't very good. As you can see these boots are made up to adult sizes. My wifes 28yrs old and wears a 24, should she wear these cause they fit?? NO. its when your kids can still flex the boots. Usually its really dependent on their skill set. My daughter is 8, she wears these boots, can flex them with no issues ( she weighs 53lbs) but has been skiing for about 5 years now. Someone who was just starting might have a hard time flexing these because they just havent devoloped the muscles needed or know how to yet. Kids boots should stiff, but flexable.
