I bought of pair of Chaco Zongs. The strap on the big toe constantly tightens as I walk. It is very uncomfortable. I dont think there would be a wrong way to loosen and tighten them. Will this stop as I wear them in???? I love the look of these sandals but cannot stand the constant adjusting of the straps? Any recommendations on how to stop this from happening?

I have the same problem with both pairs of my zongs. It seems to stick around even after extended wear although it has gotten a little better.

I also had this problem that the strap kept getting tighter, causing toe strangulation, while the arch strap would become superloose. I had brought them to Europe as my walking sandal, and was readjusting the straps frequently, especially if I had been walking uphill. It was the worst when I got caught in a downpour in Paris- once they were wet, the straps didn's stay where they were supposed to, and I was fixing my shoes every 2 blocks. I think there is a design flaw in the Zong, because my original Chaco sandals with the strap around the back never caused these problems.
