My 7 year old son really dislikes winter jackets--says they are too "puffy"--even when they really aren't! Any idea what the temp could go down to and he still stay warm waiting for bus & out on the playground? We live in Massachusetts. Desperately seeking a warm "non-puffy" jacket for him to wear that we won't fight over! Thanks

I'm assuming it'll be down to around 10 in Mass over the winter, in which case this jacket alone won't keep him warm. On its own, if he's not exercising, it'll probably be good down to the 40s at the lowest. Maybe when the temperature drops below freezing he'll come around on the "puffy" thing, but either way this won't cut it.
