Been looking at getting this bags for awhile, but I am still a little sceptical about using it in the early spring time. We're planning a trip for early May and this usually the earliest I will go. Do you think it is a good buy for that time of the year?

This could be a great bag in May. It could also kill you in May - all depends on where you're going and how the temps will be. I've found my Marmot bags are pretty comfortable down to their ratings. I usually sleep on the colder side, but find among my friends that I'm about average.
