Will the Nuptse down jacket zip into this shell? And do they need to be the same size? I've got a Large Nuptse but have read that the Varius runs a little small, and I'd like an XL Varius if'll work with my Nuptse.

Well, the mens version is zip-in compatible, and the description shown say it is....

Sorry, but the Varius Guide is not zip-in compatible. The following shells are zip-in compatible: Banshee TriClimate™ Jacket Mt. Guide Jacket Mt. Light Parka Mt. Light Jacket Recon jacket Trinity Triclimate Voretex Triclimate North Face recommends the jackets be the same size as the liners. If they're different sizes, the liner may zip in, but the zippers will be different lengths and everything may not line up properly.
