I am looking for a mens jacket which is very warm, waist length,can be worn in car or indoors without being too hot ( must be able to breathe),not too bulky, and have a zip front.Also wind resistant.

Check out Outdoor Research Credo Jacket. It's really comfortable in the city or in the mountains. Windproof on the outside with a light fleece on the inside. -----------------------------------Also, check out any number of air permeable softshells on the market. Two from Mountain Hardwear would be the Android Jacket and the Offwidth Jacket. Hope this helps.
