I got this jacket in black for Christmas a year ago. The front of the jacket in the breast area is flat and worn, no other part though. I've been very careful washing it, but its just that one area. Is anyone else having this issue?

You should check with Backcountry customer service, this is likely a warranty issue or can be returned and replaced under BC unlimited return policy.
