Has anyone used this as a running jacket? I am looking for something colorful, warm, lightweight and waterproof! Or is this going to be too warm?

34degrees F, moderate sleet, and predawn skies with no sun at all, I took this for a 5 mile run. I wore only an Omni Freeze T-shirt under it and running pants. I stayed warm, dry and protected from the elements without overheating. i heated up, but no more than i would have otherwise and it breathed well. I am not used to running with a hardshell and this moved well, keeping me visible on the roadside. The red colorway is 100% stretch material, whereas the black is not (70%ish)

It's too warm for me, even with pit zips. The omni heat works best when there is heat to reflect back, and exercise creates a -lot- of heat.
