The Guides Down Sweater won't reach below the hip. Depending on what size you are, and the size you pick, will ultimately determine where the hem falls ... but I think you'll find the length is below the belt, just above the butt. The length is about 27.5 (center back length), based on size medium. The Guides Down Hoody is an inch longer.
