I'm just curious if anyone knows if the 3661 cubic inch specification for the Aether 60 includes the pack space generated by the 2 side stretch woven pockets and the large stretch woven pocket on the front of the pack???

No. It is just in reference to the internal capacity and not to the stretch pockets.
