Take 2 pairs of socks bc unless you have really cold feet you will most likely sweat through them. May have a higher risk of blisters so take care of any hotspots strait away. I agree the Nepal Evo's are a better choice for low altitude spring and summer climbing in the Sierras and Cascades, assuming any boot you pick is a good fit first of all. They will be fine if that is all you have (Ive done Rainier in LS Baruntse), but they are a bad choice if you are looking for a boot just for Rainier (especially price wise).

NO this is not to warm of a boot and in my opinion is a great choice.Just dont use high alt liners. Another good boot to use would be the LA sportiva nepal evo which is a single leather boot. though because your going in june a double boot would be better.
