I'm 6'2" 190 and I'm torn between 182 and 189....

I'm 6'2" 190 and I'm torn between 182 and 189. I live in the midwest but buy my skis for the yearly trip or 2 to utah. My current skis are 185 rossi scratch bc's.

I needed to get my order placed today and ended up going with the 189. I'll probably keep my 185 Rossi scratch Bc's as my midwest ski and just pray for snow when I'm out west.

I think the 182 would be fine for your weight/hieght. The 189 is a wider ski (+4mm at waist) with less of a sidecut. As an ex-midwesterner having a versatile ski is important because you never know what the snow condition will be when you travel. If you only planned on using this for powder days, 189 would be the way to go.
