on further review ... they may be a bit on the roomy side. As I said in my review of these boots, I have one foot larger than the other so it's a little challenging sometimes. I put miles on these right out of the box and never a blister or even a hot spot. I believe they run a little on the wider side which makes them roomy but not at all sloppy. The extra little bit of room allows for a wide variety of socks as well as foot swell which is bound to happen on a high mile day.

yes they do ... that's what I dig about The North Face products.
