Will the vents let sun through? I worry that my bald head will get burned where the vents are located. Fair skinned and even with sunblock I will burn. So, will i end up with streaks of sun burn where the vents are, as many hats will do?

Nope. I have a little thin spot on top, and I spend a lot of time out in bright sunlight in this hat. I've never had my head burn. Not once.

No. There is a mesh lining between the vent so the tiny amount of light let between the slits will be filtered by mesh as well.
