I'm 5'2" 125 pounds and I got the small, but when I tried them out a couple of times, I kept feeling like the back of my knees were being pinched. I know the size chart suggests sm for my height/weight, but would medium be a better fit? All the "bands" on the tights were fitted properly around my knees etc, but the back of my knees/IT bands were sore after wearing them.

These fight TIGHT. I am just about your size - 5'2", 120 - and have a full seat & hips. I went with medium and while that's even a snug fit, I can tell a large wouldn't be supportive enough.
