I'm about to purchase Volkl Aura twin tip skis in 163cm 131/96/114mm....

I'm about to purchase Volkl Aura twin tip skis in 163cm 131/96/114mm. /Which Alpinist skins should I go for, xshort or short / 115mm or 130mm? Do I need twin tip connectors too? These will be my first skins, are they easy to cut and fit or should I be buying them from the ski retailer and asking him to fit them?

130mm short for best coverage. Twin-tip connectors really help keep the skin tail on the ski. They're worth every penny. The skins come with a cutting tool. Well-designed and easy to use.
