I have seen this harness with 2 different types of attachment point. One is just webbing, and the other is like the one shown above. Which one is the newer model?

The new one is pictured here, but buyer beware! I'm a US citizen working as a canyon guide in New Zealand, and I went through a great deal of trouble to get this harness to me. Upon opening the box, I found that backcountry.com had sent me the old webbing loop model! It will now cost me more money than the harness is worth to send it back for the new model. I'm now what you call SOL. Don't let Backcountry.com mislead you too! Buy somewhere else!!

Backcountry carries the latest models of everything. The older ones are on SteepAndCheap or in the Outlet.
