how is the length of this jacket compared to other softshells...like the G50 and Apex bionic?

Well, I am not sure about the Apex Bionic but I can tell you that the G50 has a center back length (measurement from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket) of 27". The Vinson has a CBL of 29". So, it is longer by two inches. Hope this helps.
