I have a couple military jackets I would like to waterproof and I read somewhere that this will work on cotton. Is this true? also I would like to waterproof a synthetic "OutfitterLoft" fill sleeping bag and was curious what product would be good for that?

For the sleeping bag, get the stuff you wash in...made by nikwax. For the cotton, dont waste your money...if youre wearing cotton in a wet environment, consider yourself dead. Cotton kills and can not be made fully water proof.
