Are the dimensions interior capacity... or more importantly will the small size fit a camera 4.2x2.4x1.4?

Just measured the interior dimensions of my Small, and they are really really close to 4.5 x 2.5 x 1.5in. I would say that your camera should fit snugly in the Small. However, if you don't want a snug fit, you should consider going bigger--the Medium would allow an extra battery, extra memory card, and a gorilla pod (if you don't use one of those, you should!!!).
