I bought this jacket last week and went skiing with it and it felt great. However, on the day I went the weather was high 20's and sunny. I'd like to know how this coat handles on the mountain for skiing when the temp is in the teens and high wind chill. Will this work with proper layering, or should I get something more substantial?
I've asked this before, but would like to hear from those that have used this coat in extreme cold and their thoughts on its performance.

Can it compatible with the new Diaz down jacket (900 fill)?

If you want to use it in the extreme cold, buy a north face with zip in compatability, (Denali, nuptse, red point etc.) with the Nuptse, you could probably go well below zero with no problems. The jacket is windproof by itself and the Nuptse is a 700 down-fill. Awesome option.
