How much wind can it stand?
I am planning a trip to Patagonia. Is this tent be able to hold up to 70 mph wind? It says it's very strong, so I guess you did some test on that. How much wind can it stand? I know it's a 3 three season tent with lot of mesh etc. But I don't care if it can stand up to strong wind because I want to travel light as much as possible.

I got the answer from mountain hardwear customer support. This tent is not built for more the 40 mph. Anything more then 40 mph could destroy the tent.

I wouldn't subject this tent to 70 mph winds. It's possible that it can withstand it, but I would look to a dedicated mountaineering tent, such as the Mountain Hardwear Trango series, or the Sierra Designs Convert. There are others as well ... hope this helps.
