Women's snowshoes for powder? We have to work out in the woods -- no trails -- where snow can be powder to the ground. Most women's snowshoes don't seem to be longer than 25". Anyone know the best flotation - backcountry - powder snowshoes for long miles of hiking? The crew is 2 women, 5'2", 120lbs and 5'5" 135lbs.

These should work fine, as they are some of the best backcountry snowshoes on the market. A 25 inch snowshoe should work nicely with a 120 and 135lb user, even with backpacks. You can always get the additional tails (MSR Lightning Tails) that attach to the back, to provide even more flotation. If they aren't needed, just store them away until needed. Makes for a very nice snowshoe setup! hope this helps...
