How does this compare with the 200 series from Stoic? I ordered this a few weeks ago and it feels lighter and less 'elastic' than my previous Backcountry (long live the goat) merino underlayer. The backcountry shirt feels smoother, and appears to have more fibers and is perhaps better constructed... would the 200 be more similar to this?
Thanks!

I have both, and there is not much diff between the two. The 200 is slightly thicker and fuller bodied than the 150. So far I like the feel of the 200 a little better.

if you like the older goat merino styles from 2009, you will love the 200 weight from stoic. the 200 grams per square meter is heavier, more dense and uses 18.9 micron merino, which results in warmer and a more structured material. this 150 gsm is light, and uses a soft 17.5 merino, personally my favorite for its great feel, and just enough warmth.
