I'm looking for a rain shell for my girlfriend, and this is one she'd like, But according to your site, it says its a winter/skiing kinda shell. Is it going to be too warm for spring/summer use, too? I've grown up a marmot whore, so I don't know but so much about mountain hardware. Thanks for the help

Alex. This is a 2-layer waterproof (40K) breathable (35K) and air permeable (.05 cfm) jacket made utilizing our newest and most breathable textile... DryQ Elite. It would work great as a year round jacket despite being labeled as a winter/skiing shell. As a matter of fact, it would only work well for that use if it were layered with something else like a down sweater or heavier fleece. I hope this info helps!
