Hey Mary, yeah this is a great jacket for sure (and priced well for what you get), but they are going to inevitably out grow it... so unless your pocket book allows or you can pass this onto someone else when its out grown, I would check into another less expensive jacket... you can look at www.geartrade.com for a used one as well...
